Around the Shop

 

All’s well here at General Fabricators, Inc. New Iberia, La. this week. We’ve picked up a couple of more projects.

We’re working with a new customer in Houston. We’ve been awarded 2 projects in Texas. They’re going according to plan. We’ve picked up a few more projects this week, all the work is in Texas. A tank terminal and plant expansion. We shipped a couple of projects out last week.

I spent some time in the shop this morning taking video’s. Look for them on Facebook, General Fabricators, Inc. They will be uploaded to YouTube as well. Check our page out sometime.

I had the opportunity to speak with a couple of the men working in the shop. Great guys!

Business Development Processes

We do our best to offer more value to our customers than most companies in our business offer. Why? Because it’s the right thing to do. And because we are concerned with the success of all our customers. Whatever we can do to assist all of them to grow their business we’re interested.

We’ve got a few trucks in line to be offloaded this morning, 6:25 am. We’re getting it done. Inspectors are around making sure the materials are correct that they have sent. This project is going to Tennessee once we’ve completed it.

We Made the Choice

A short explanation of what we mean when we say, “we made the choice”.

We made the choice to be in the business of helping EPC and Industrial Construction companies be more competitive by supplying quality fabricated process pipe and the structural steel that supports it, including modular units.

Our customers are performing in the field, additional scope occurs somewhat frequently. So there are always additional spool pieces or pipe supports we need to deliver quick. Addition to scope occurs for many reasons, we’re here to pick up that slack so your PM or Superintendent can deal with the field and we deliver his process pipe fabricated to specifications.

So, we made the choice to assist and support our customers field construction crews by fabricating high quality process pipe. Carbon steel, low temp carbon steel or stainless steel, we do it and we do it better than anyone else.

It’s what we do best and are most competitive doing.
